The Story

In late May 2010 I departed for a six month adventure across East Africa- starting in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, and ending in Nairobi, Kenya. The goal of the semester leave of absence from Georgetown University is to have a few more real world experiences before finishing my studies, and to better understand what exactly is it about Africa that has stolen my heart.
